Vision
Imparting theoretical and applied knowledge of economics, conducting research on socio-economic problems at regional and national level for inclusive development.

Objectives
The aim of teaching and learning mathematics is to encourage and enable students to recognize that mathematics permeates the world around us, appreciate the usefulness, power and beauty of mathematics, enjoy mathematics and develop patience and persistence when solving problems.
Departmental Activities
The departmental activities include the regular theory classes in UG and PG and Viva classes along with academic activities (Group Discussion, PPT, lecture)in PG classes. Evaluation is done through the unit test, quarterly and half yearly exam for UG students and sessional exams for PG students as per academic calendar. Departmental Library is rich with reference books, recommended books prescribed course books.
