DEPARTMENT AT A GLANCE
In 1983, the department of Sociology was established to provide better quality of higher
education by retaining its standard of excellence in teaching. It seeks to
respond to the changing social realities and impart knowledge to create a
people centered, ecologically sustainable and just society which protects
equality, social justice and human rights for all. It looks forward to
